Dangers to wildlife

Task 1: Below is the conservation status scale which indicates whether a species still exists and how likely it is to become extinct in the near future. Match the three phrases indicating three “threatened” levels with the numbers 1, 2 and 3.

- T asks Ss which “threatened” level (1, 2, or 3) in the scale goes with the phrases VU, CR or EN. T checks answers as a class.

Task 1: Match the pictures with the animals’ names, Then discuss the questions with a partner.
