2. Task 2 - Read the information in task 2, check understanding - Look at the example, study it - Work in groups, each group takes responsibility to talk about one type of animals + Where do ... live? + What is the population of ... in the world? + What is their height/ weight? + What kind of food do they eat? + How long does their life span last? + Why does their numbers decline each year? |

3. Task 3 - Work in groups, take turns to talk about these animals Pandas live in bamboo forests in the mountains in central and western China. Nowadays, they are endangered. There are only 600 pandas left in the world. Their weight is from 75 to 160 kg and they are from 1.2 to 1.5 metres high. They like eating bamboo leaves and shoots. Their life span lasts for about 20 to 30 years. They decline in their number because of habitat destruction and illegal hunting. |
