UNIT 4: MY THINGS
Lesson 4
I. Objectives
- By the end of this unit, pupils can identify, write and use number 5.
- Pupils can identify and use numbers 3 and 4.
II. Procedures
*Warm up: Review the word G and sound /g/.
A. Presentation
1. Count 1-5
Step 1: Write the number 1 to 5.
Step 2: Say one to five.
Step 3: Point to the correct picture.
Step 4: Check that pupils are pointing to the correct picture.
B. Practice
1. Sing
Step 1: Play the CD. Tell pupils to listen to the song.
Step 2: Play the CD again and pause after each line. Sing the line and tell pupils to repeat after teacher.
Step 3: Play CD again and ask pupils to sing the song.
C. Production
1. Sing and do
Step 1: Give the doll and teddy bear flashcards to two children.
Step 2: Sing the song.
D. Application
- Learn a song by heart.
WEEK 13 – PERIOD 26
UNIT 4: MY THINGS
Lesson 5
I. Objectives
- By the end of this unit, pupils can say, recognize, and write the letter Hh.
- Pupils can recognize and say the sound /h/.
- Pupil can develop fine motor control.
II. Procedures
*Warm up: Review the letters a, b, c, ,e, f, and g.
A. Presentation
1. Learn the letter
Step 1: Say H, hand and horse. Pupils repeat the words.
Step 2: Write them on the board and read aloud the words.
Step 3: Tell pupils to practice.
B. Practice
1. Sing
Step 1: Play the CD. Tell pupils to listen to the song.
Step 2: Play the CD again and pause after each line. Sing the line and tell pupils to repeat after teacher.
Step 3: Play CD again and ask pupils to sing the song.
C. Production
1. Find
Step 1: Tell pupils to find the letter h in the alphabet.
Step 2: Tell pupils to look at the main picture on page 26.
Step 3: Say hand and horse. Check that pupils are pointing to the hand and horse.
D. Application
- Learn new words by heart.
