I. Passive form:

- Give out an examples and asks Ss to change in to passive forms.

Ex: a) Many people reuse plastic bags.

b) I will make a cake.

- Gives out the answer, elicits and consolidates the way to change present simple, future simple and modal verbs into passive forms.

- Asks Ss to change the following into passive form

1. Maria helps Mrs Brown every week.

2. People grow rice in these fields.

3. I clean my room every day.

- Calls on some Ss go to the board and write the answer.

- Checks Ss’ answer and gives out the correct answer.

II. Adjectives followed by an infinitive and a noun clause:

- Gives out sentences and asks Ss to combine the sentences then consolidates the knowledge.

1. I can’t do this exercise. It’s difficult.

2. I am happy. I passed my exam.

3. I am happy. You passed your exam.

4. She is afraid. He won’t believe her.

- Calls on some Ss go to the board and write the answer.

- Checks the answer with the whole class.

III. Present and past participles:

- Asks Ss to rewrite the following sentences using present participles or past participles:

1. The pencils is hers. It is lying on the desk.

2. The man is my uncle. He wrote this poem.

3. The cake was made by me. It is delicious.

4. This is a novel. The novel was written by a well-known writer.

- Answer T’s questions.

a) Plastic bags are reused by many people.

b)A cake will be made by me.

- Listen and write down.

- Work individually.

- Write the answer on the board.

- Check the answer with teacher.

- Combine the given sentences then listen and write down.

- Write the answer on the board.

- Check the answer with teacher.

- Listen to teacher’s guides and work individually to do the exercise.

- Change the answer in pairs.

- Go to the board to write the answer.
