I. OBJECTIVES:
1. Aim: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to make a schedule for a vacation.
- Standard: Make a schedule for a vacation and ask and answer about it.
- Higher: Write a passage about their vacation
- Listen to the weather reports and fill in the blanks in the table with the information they hear.
- Standard: Listen and fill in the table
- Higher: answer some questions about the weather reports
2. Knowledge:
Vocabulary: gym (n), accommodation (n), via (prep), temperature (n), minus (n), degree centigrade (n).
Structures:
- The present simple to talk about the schedule
- Future expressions: will, shall, should + V.
- The future simple tense. “Be going to”
3. Skills: Speaking and Listening.
II. PREPARATION:
1. Teacher: Lesson plan, text book, cassette, tape.
2. Students:
Vocabulary: gym (n), accommodation (n), via (prep), temperature (n), minus (n), degree centigrade (n).
Structures:
- The present simple to talk about the schedule
- Future expressions: will, shall, should + V.
- The future simple tense. “Be going to”
III. PPROCEDURE:
1. Check up: Asks Ss to make an invitation using “Would you like…?” and respond.

I. Pre-speaking: ( 14’) 1. 2. Structures: - Present the structures to ask and answer questions to complete the itinerary. Eg: + Where shall we stay? + The Revere Hotel is expensive but it has a gym + What time shoul we leave Los Angeles? + There’s a daily flight at 10 am. Would that be OK? - Call on one pair to practice the dialogue before class. II. While-speaking: (18’) - Ask Ss to work in pairs, use the brochures and flight information to complete their itinerary. - Has them to use their itinerary to make similar dialogue. - Calls on some pairs to practice before class. - Comment and correct. III. Post-speaking: (10’) Listening - Ask ss to listen to the weather reports. Then fill in the blanks in the table with the information they hear. - Play the tape twice for Ss to listen and do the task. - Get feedback. - Play the tape again for them to check their answer. - Give correct answer.

- Try to give them out and repeat chorally- individually. - Copy down and give the meaning, stress.
- Repeat the words, remember and go to the board to rewrite them.

IV. HOMEWORK: (2’)
- Learn the vocabulary and complete their dialogue in notebook.
