Aims: Help Ss to improve some skills: reading, speaking and writing.

A. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

  • ask and answer about vacation.
  • write a plan for own vacation.

B. Language content:

*Vocab: the words related to vacation.

* Grammar: Immediate future.

C. Preparations: Text-book, lesson plan, cassette, disc

Ways of working: T-WC, individual-work, pair-work, group work.

Anticipated problems:

  • Weak Ss may miss “be” when using new rules.
  • Solution: Help Ss to learn the rules clearly and call good Ss practice first.

  • Set the scene: The summer is coming and I’m sure you have a lot of plans to do this summer. Let’s start our lesson to study how to make plans.
  • Explain the word: “destination”
