I. AIMS/OBJECTIVES OF THE LESSON
1. Language focus: To provide Ss with new words and phrases related to the topic personal experiences
2. Skills: To help Ss develop their reading skills: skimming for general ideas and scanning for specific information
3. Attitudes: To encourage Ss work in pairs and groups
II. PREPARATION
1. Teacher:
- Teaching aids: Lesson plan, text book, pieces of with new words
- Teaching method: Communicative language teaching
2. Students: Read Unit 2 – reading at home
III. PROCEDURE
1. Class organization (1 minute)
2. Check – up (5 minutes) Some Ss go to the board to revise the pronunciation of /dƷ/ and /t⨜/, the use of infinitive with to and without to.
3. New lesson (35 minutes)
