A. OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson students will be able to understand a picture story about Ba’s daily routines to practise the simple present tense
Ss practise 4 skills fluently
B. TEACHING AIDS.

Jumbled Words
work house -> housework
tchwa -> watch
tenlis -> listen work in groups

Workhome ->homework
Divide the class in to 2 teams: A-B
Deliver the hand outs to 2 teams
Ss in each team discuss and arrange the letters in the correct
order to make the meaningful words
The team that has more correct words will win the game

Step 1. Pre- reading (12’) *Pre teach :(Vocabulary) - take a shower: tắm vòi hoa sen (picture) -eat: ăn (mine) -start: bắt đầu (meaning) - finish: kết thúc (antonym of start) -have lunch :ăn trưa (picture) -go to bed: đi ngủ (picture) - Quarter: 15 phút ( explain) +Checking: what and where T. introduces the text - Draw a picture of Ba and say This is Ba. He is telling us about his daily routines. Before reading the text I have some statements from the text, but they are not in order. You’ll predict and arrange them in order à check (?) how many statements are there? (7) (?) What do you have to do? (arrange them in order) - Ask one students read the statements aloud Step 2. While-reading (15’) - Ask Ss to open their books on P.56 to read the text about Ba silently (3 minutes) then check their predictions Have Ss correct their predictions - Call on one students to read all statements in order - Get Ss to play attention to the notes + Complete the table - Ask Ss to read the text gain then complete the table in Ex2/p.57 T.shows the poster on the board - Call on Ss to go to the board to complete the table(turn by turn)
Step 3. Post-reading (10’) Get Ss to practise asking ands answering about the time of Ba’s activities and themselves basing on the table above T. models first – Ss repeat Ss work in pairs o practise Open pairs- closed pairs IV.
