               in time: đúng giờ và đến trước hơn 1 chút

Giải thích: a true friend to sb: 1 người bạn tốt đối với ai đó.

Tạm dịch: Cảm ơn vì tất cả những gì bạn đã làm. Bạn thực sự là 1 người bạn tốt đối với mình.

6. I can’t believe in/to you. You always let me down.

=> I can’t believe to you. You always let me down.

Giải thích: believe in sb: tin tưởng vào khả năng của ai

               believe to sb: tin ai...

Tạm dịch: Tôi không thể tin bạn được nữa, bạn luôn làm tôi thất vọng.

=> The bookshop is between the chemist’s and the butcher's and opposite the library.

Giải thích: between: ở giữa (2 cái)

                among: nằm trong số nhiều cái

                opposite đối diện

                across: băng qua

10. Next year, I am going to set married to/with John and we are going to move to Bristol.

Cụm từ play the piano: chơi đàn piano

            at university: ở trường đại học

Tạm dịch: Davis học chơi violin khi anh ấy học đại học.

=> Did you read the book I lent you last week?

The book vì quyển sách đã xác định rồi

Tạm dịch: Bạn đã đọc cuốn sách tôi đã cho bạn mượn tuần trước chưa?

=> Is that the present Bill gave you for Christmas?

The present vì món quà đã xác định rồi (cả 2 đều biết)

Tạm dịch: Có phải đây là món quà mà Bill đã đưa cho bạn trong ngày Giáng sinh không?

=>The computer has already changed our lives dramatically.

The computer đã được xác định

Tạm dịch: Máy vi tính đã thay đổi cuộc sống của chúng tôi rất nhiều.

8. there was……….. accident yesterday at ………corner of……….street.

=> there was an accident yesterday at the corner of the street.

accident chưa được xác định nên phải dùng an

corner và street đã được xác định rồi

The offer đã xác định rồi
