Hi Vicky

Thanks for your email. Do you have anything exciting for this summer?

There’s going to be a music festival for teenagers where I live next weekend. It’s going to be amazing!

I’m going to be working every morning, but I'll have lots of free time in the afternoons. All of my favourite bands are playing, so I'm really happy about that. I’ll be helping at the information desk - giving advice, helping people who have lost their friends, etc. I'm really excited, but a little nervous too. Last year I saw a terrible accident - a fan climbed up a tree to get a better look and he fell. He broke his back and had lots of cuts. He couldn’t move at all. I hope nothing bad happens this year because I'm not good at dealing with horrible injuries!

Do you like this music festival? Write back soon!

Ben

Hi, is that Mrs. James?

Yes, speaking.

Oh, hi. It's Ben Green from the festival. Don't worry, but I've got your daughter Kim here with me.

Oh, no. Is she okay? What's happened?

She's fallen over and she's got a really small bruise on her ankle.

That doesn't sound too bad.

No, it isn't. It definitely isn't broken. She can walk on it, but she wants you to come and pick her up.

That's ridiculous. Can I speak to her, please?

Sure, no problem.

But mom, it hurts. Yes, it's really painful. Well, no, don't hang up. I haven't been having a good time. It's been raining since I got here. No, that's not all. There's something worse. Oh, wait, this song rocks. Oh, I've had an argument with Grace. No, Mary hasn't spoken to me since this morning either. Please, Mom, I'm having an awful time. Please take me home. Okay? She wants to talk to you.

And Mrs. James.

I've told her to stop being negative. I’ll pick her up on Sunday. Bye.

Anna

Hi. How can I help you?

Oh, I feel silly. I've spent all my time sitting in the sun and…

Let me see. Ouch, that looks painful. Can you move your arm?

Well, you see, my arms aren't that bad if you look at my leg.

Wow, that looks worse. What’s your name?

Anna.

Well, Anna, it looks really serious. I think you should see a doctor at the hospital.

No, I get nervous about hospitals. Look, I can stand up. Well, if I stand up slowly, it won't be too bad.

Lời giải chi tiết:

Hi Rose

Thanks for your email. Do you have anything exciting for this holiday?

I had a trip to Nha Trang with my family last week. It was amazing! But there was one thing happened.

On that day, I and my dad were on the sidewalk to buy some water after swam at the sea when a man tried to cross the street and was hit by a motor bike. He broke his leg and had lots of cuts. I felt terrible at that time. We quickly ran to that man and tried to call ambulance. A few minutes later, we and some local people helped to move him up to the stretcher.  I hope nothing bad happens when I have the next trip because I'm not good at dealing with horrible injuries!

Do you like sea and seafood? Write back soon!
